St Barnabas Church of England Primary School
St Barnabas’ is a Church of England School, founded in 1847 to serve the local community. It has a long tradition of welcoming children from Christian families and from other faiths and those of no faith.
175 years and still going from strength to strength. The school celebrated its 175th Anniversary on 10th June 2022.
The school has strong links with St Barnabas’ Church and through adopting a caring Christian ethos positive values reach throughout the School community. Pupils’ spiritual, cultural, moral, political, social and economic development are nurtured by example and through religious teachings based on Christianity welcoming those of all faith or none.
The school has 'outstanding' church school status and a 'good' Ofsted.
Mrs Rachel Jewitt is the Executive Headteacher and Miss Lauren Castle is the Head of School. Mrs Jewitt's 'other' school is St Matthew's Westminster.
