St Barnabas Church of England Primary School

St Barnabas’ is a Church of England School, founded in 1847 to serve the local community.  It has a long tradition of welcoming children from Christian families and from other faiths and those of no faith.

The school celebrated its 175th Anniversary on 10th June 2022 and goes from strength to strength.

The school is rated 'good' by Ofsted.

Lauren Castle is the Headteacher of St Barnabas School
Miss Castle is always willing to show prospective parents around the school.  She has been in post since January 2025.  Miss Castle has been on staff for over 14 years.  She first joined is as a supply teacher, then class teacher, then the Special Educational Needs/Disabilities lead.  She was then appointed as the school's Assistant Headteacher, Head of School and now our headteacher.  She clearly loves working in St Barnabas!

St Barnabas is a small school welcoming children from around Westminster (and the world).  Children come from a variety of religious backgrounds - this has been one of the many strengths of the school the past 30 years.
